Natural Muscle Builder – the side-effect-free alternative to SARMs
Anyone researching anabolic substances will quickly come across the term SARMs. SARMs stand for "selective androgen receptor modulator." However, SARMs are not natural muscle builders, but rather genuine steroids that, while functioning differently, still possess strong anabolic properties and, for the most part, require intensive PCT. SARMs capitalize on the myth that they are side-effect-free anabolic steroids that build muscle quickly and have no negative impact on the body. This is a false assumption, which is why we're clarifying it here.
SARMs can affect hormone levels just like real steroids. While the side effects of SARMs may seem mild and inconspicuous, they are often completely underestimated. These are so-called "research chemicals" that are not suitable for human consumption. Those looking for SARMs are usually looking for "side-effect-free muscle-building supplements" to build muscle and lose fat faster. We offer you genuine, side-effect-free alternatives that work on a plant-based basis and help your body reach a new plateau.
What are “Natural Muscle Builders”?
We call Natural Muscle Builders muscle-building products that help you build muscle mass, lose fat, and reach new heights without side effects and long-term risks. The problem with natural muscle-building products is that they either don't work at all (placebo) or contain prohibited ingredients that aren't declared on the products, unknowingly causing severe side effects.
Muscle-building supplements, in particular, can and should be taken with support products, as they can have a direct impact on the body. This isn't necessary with natural muscle builders, as they don't affect hormone levels. While natural muscle builders don't offer the muscle growth that hard anabolic substances do, you can still notice an effect on a natural level after a few weeks.
What active ingredients help to build natural muscles?
Ecdysterone
Ecdysterone, or beta ecdysterone, belongs to a group of ecdysteroids and, according to current research, is safe but effective, even at higher doses. Beta ecdysterones are, in the strictest sense, plant-based anabolic substances that are also found in some foods, most notably:
- Spinach (high percentage)
- Quinoa
- mushrooms
- asparagus
The effectiveness of ecdysterone has already been confirmed by a study conducted in collaboration between the Free University of Berlin and the Cologne Sports University, in which its effects were examined in 46 male subjects. The subjects were divided into four groups: two groups received 12 mg and one 48 mg of ecdysterone, combined with exercise. The other two groups each received a placebo, while the other group did not even participate in the exercise sessions.
At the end of the 10-week study, the three groups that participated in training sessions had improved performance. The EC1 group with 12 mg ecdysterone had an 11.5% increase in performance, while the EC2 group with 48 mg ecdysterone had an increase of 9.5%. The placebo group experienced a 3.59% increase in performance.
Does beta ecdysterone have side effects?
No, no side effects were observed in the entire study conducted by the Free University of Berlin in cooperation with the Cologne Sports University. Likewise, no liver or kidney impairments, nor any hormonal changes, were observed.
Forms of ecdysterone
- 20-Hydroxyecdysone
- 24 (28) A-Dehydramakisterone
- Cyasterone
- Ecdysone
- Ecdysterone and Beta Ecdysterone
- Integristerone A
- Ponasterone A
- Sileneosides A and C
- Turkesterone
- Viticoesterone E
We'd like to point out that the currently most effective and legal/side-effect-free form of beta ecdysterone for muscle building is turkesterone. There are already numerous products containing turkesterone, which we also carry in our shop.
Epicatechin – effect on muscle building?
Epicatechin is a flavonoid, a tannin found in either green tea or cocoa, and is therefore known as a "myostatin inhibitor." Of course, it's not a true, gene-altering myostatin inhibitor that makes you look like one of those Belgian bulls after taking it, but epicatechin does have a myostatin-inhibiting effect and enables increased muscle growth during high-intensity training. The combination of epicatechin and laxogenin is popular because the effects of both active ingredients complement each other synergistically (increased muscle potential with up to 200% increased muscle protein biosynthesis).
Laxogenin
Laxogenin, also known as 5a-hydroxy-laxogenin, is a plant-derived substance belonging to the brassinosteroid family. Brassinosteroids are substances synthesized exclusively from plants and have demonstrated a proven effect on muscle building.
Laxogenin is available as a dietary supplement in two different forms (current status): conventional laxogenin and 5a-hydroxy laxogenin, the latter of which has anabolic properties in addition to increased muscle protein biosynthesis.
Of course, Laxogenin doesn't have the anabolic activity of the more aggressive anabolic substances, but it can still provide some benefits for muscle building. Studies have already shown that Laxogenin can increase muscle protein synthesis by up to 200%, which roughly translates to more protein being converted into muscle mass. When combined with rigorous training and a high-protein diet, this can help you reach a new level of muscle building.
Do Natural Muscle Builders really help build muscle?
We wouldn't call any substance a miracle cure, because "no side effects, no effect" is true in most cases. Nevertheless, there are some muscle-building agents we've presented in this category that can have a noticeable effect on muscle growth.
